Please place cans/carts like this: |
Our garbage carts are available in the following sizes: |

Glass only, commingled recycling, yard debris, garbage |
 95 gal, 65 gal, 35 gal, *20 with an insert |
In order to serve you, please help us with the following:
- Place cans/carts and bins within 3 feet of the curb, before 6 a.m. on your collection day.
- Please arrange cans/carts and bins with at least 1 foot between
them so the trucks' hydraulic arm fits between each can/cart.
To avoid damage, do not place carts within 3 feet of mailboxes, cars,
telephone poles, trees, etc.
- If providing your own garbage can, it may not be larger than 32 gallons in size and must have a lid and side handles.
- Please don't overfill can/carts, lids must close and materials
should fall freely when emptied. Over weight and over filled can/carts may
incur additional fees.
- Please place loose items, such as kitty litter, other pet waste, and foam peanuts in a sealed bag to prevent spilling when the garbage can/cart is emptied. (Foam peanuts can be taken to a mailing service for re-use.)
- We encourage you to set out your recycling bins and yard debris carts only when full, or manageable. This makes collection more efficient and controls costs.
- Please note the labels on each cart specifying the items to be placed inside, i.e. do not use the recycling bins or yard debris carts for garbage. If the wrong material is found in the wrong cart, additional fees will apply.
- Carts and baskets are the property of Sunset Garbage. Customers
are responsible for damage costs, so please don't paint, cut, melt
or otherwise damage them. Remove carts and baskets from curb/roadside
after pick up.
- Don't block access to cans/carts/bins or turnaround areas on
your collection day. Our trucks are as big as fire trucks and
need room to maneuver safely.
- Private roads, long driveways and locations with difficult access, may incur additional fees or receive limited service.
We provide a 95 gallon Blue Cart for recycling collection.
